HISTORY
RB Equestrian has been trading since 1990. It grew out of a stall on Milton Keynes market into a small tack shop just outside the village of Soulbury in Buckinghamshire. The commitment of its founder and current managing director, Rosslyn Boggis, to customer service and good value has built a huge base of loyal customers and RB Equestrian now trades out of 12,000 square feet premises at Great Brickhill in South Milton Keynes. The shop is one of the largest retail saddleries in the United Kingdom and the site contains two saddlery/harness workshops, a rug laundry, feed barn, and full-sized manege as well as the large retail showroom.
ETHOS
RB Equestrian is a supplier of high quality equestrian, pet and country-orientated goods at reasonable prices in a friendly environment. All of its staff are lovers of horses and most are horseowners. Our customers range from children, and adults, starting their first riding lessons to high-performing professional riders. Whoever they are serving, all of the team at RB Equestrian put themselves into the customer’s position and ask themselves what they would expect in the same situation, whether in asking for advice about a new product or in bringing back a faulty item (sadly, this sometimes happens, even with us). We always strive for customer satisfaction.
PROFESSIONALISM
RB Equestrian is a professional organisation. It isn’t stuffy and isn’t patronising, but it is knowledgeable. Since our startup in 1990 we have endeavoured to be first class at everything we do, and this has meant taking formal training courses and achieving professional qualifications. We are members, and abide by the codes of conduct, of the Society of Master Saddlers and the British Equestrian Trade Association. Our saddlers are formally trained, our saddle fitters follow approved procedures, and our shop staff are qualified in riding instruction, equine management, wormer dispensing, and riding hat and body protector fitting.
