Professional riders and competitors who want an eye-catching boot which also offers unparalleled performance.
Equestrians who are willing to change into riding boots before getting on board, or those who do more riding than yard work.
Bear in mind:
This is absolutely not a yard boot and must not be treated like one. The soft and supple leather is much more delicate than Mountain Horse's work boots.
Replacement elastic laces are available FREE.
The cushioning removable insoles are easily replaced.
Sizing:
Available in size 37 to 42. Also available in a standard calf fitting
Fitting tips:
It is essential to fit these boots as snugly as possible around the calf. The pliable leather will soon give with wear. If these boots are too loose, they will drop too much.
If you fall between two length fittings, opt for the taller one and use heel lifters to give extra height until the boots drop.
The boot comes with a short lace through the zip pull - use it to get the zip up on the first fitting.
Care advice:
These boots are leather (just like a bridle) - they need a little love & attention in return for long, faithful service. Look after them as part of your regular tack care regime.
Remember to unzip the boot all the way down to the bottom when you're putting on and taking off the Sovereign. Our quality YKK zips are pretty robust and are guaranteed for a year, but a sure-fire way to destroy them is to jam your foot in or out when the pull tab isn't all the way to the bottom.
