Point Two Equine Ltd have revolutionised safety in the equine world by combining the latest airbag technology within a stylish and comfortable jacket.
The Point Two air jackets are the only fully CE certified air jackets available and are also the fastest air bag jacket in the world. The jacket reaches full inflation in 0.1 seconds offering fantastic protection to the collar of the neck, spine, coccyx and rib cage.

Points to note:
- The Point Two air jacket is not suitable for riders under 6 stone.
- As a rough guide the Point Two air jacket should lie, uninflated, at the lower point of your bottom (although bear in mind your extra 'bulk' when wearing a conventional body protector). As a rough guide the small size suits riders 4'11" to 5'4", the medium size suits riders 5'4" to 5'9" and the large size suits 5'9" to 6'2"
- The Point Two air jacket IS reusable. All that needs to be replaced after each inflation is the CO2 canister
- The Point Two air jacket should be serviced every year or after every six inflations (whichever comes first). If you have purchased your jacket from us we can arrange this for you.
- You should check your Point Two air jacket regularly for wear and tear - particularly every time it inflates
- The Point Two air jacket is not BETA approved meaning that you may be required to wear a conventional body protector underneath. Not all body protectors are suitable for use with the Point Two air jacket (please contact us if you don't know whether yours is)
They say:
"As well as the obvious protection from shock absorption, the jacket distributes pressure and above all, effectively supports the spinal column so that the neck and trunk have limited movement. For your protection, a simple “click” is all it takes to connect you to the saddle. If you are unseated or thrown from a horse the airbag system is designed to be effective in 0.1 seconds
The Lanyard of the jacket connects with the nylon stirrup straps at the front of the saddle. After the rider has mounted the saddle, he or she clips the 2 ends together. The Lanyard enables full movement in all directions for the rider. The airbag will only be activated if the rider is separated from the horse. The airbag jacket will then inflate within 0.1 seconds, protecting the all important areas of the body, the collar of the neck, ribs and coccyx.
The new system means that your jacket will be fully inflated after activation in 0.1 of a second, so should inflation begin from as little as 25cm from the ground your Point Two Air Jacket will be inflated before you impact the ground. The jacket is completely reusable by replacing the CO2 gas cartridge. The highly resistant polyester fabric Jacket or Gilet can be brushed or sponged down to remove stains."
