Let's help. <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3ca7433 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3ca7433\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Here is a short series of helpful tips on studs:\u00a0<\/p><ul><li>as a general rule you want spikey studs for hard ground and chunky studs for soft ground;<\/li><li>try using them in the rear shoes only first. If that\u2019s not enough grip then consider using some in the front shoes too.\u00a0 Strictly speaking you should use two studs in each shoe to make sure the horse remains correctly balanced;<\/li><li>studs are available in 3\/8\u201d or 5\/16\u201d sizes.\u00a0 Check with your farrier what size holes are in your horse\u2019s shoes.\u00a0 3\/8\u201d is most common;<\/li><li>keep your stud holes clean by \u2018stuffing\u2019 them with a specially designed stopper or tightly packed cotton wool;<\/li><li>make sure you re-tap your holes before you try to screw your studs in;
