effect on those impact absorption properties, some of which will be increased if you use your body protector regularly. They would include (but are not limited to!):<\/p><ul><li>sweat;<\/li><li>personal hygiene products;<\/li><li>extremes of temperature;<\/li><li>moisture; and<\/li><li>how it\u2019s stored.<\/li><\/ul><p>As a general rule your body protector will last longer if you don\u2019t leave it in a cold, damp tack room, dumped on a pile of wet rugs where it might get occasionally chewed by mice! should make sure all of the zips and fastenings are done up and that it\u2019s stored in a clean, dry place.\u00a0<\/p><p>To keep your body protector comfortable and easy to put on it should ideally be stored at room temperature.\u00a0 In a utility room, on the back of your bedroom door, or in a heated tack room would all be ideal.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div I replace it sooner than the three to five years you\u2019ve talked about?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section you\u2019ve taken a tumble.\u00a0 The foam in body protectors is designed to expand back to its original shape within 30 minutes of having an impact.\u00a0 If you\u2019ve got a indentation in your body protector that won\u2019t come out then it means that the impaction properties in that area have been compromised and can\u2019t offer you the same level of protection in the future.\u00a0<\/p><p>This would mean it\u2019s time to get a new one.<\/p><p>Also use your common sense.\u00a0 If you use your body protector a lot; if you\u2019ve fallen off regularly; or (obviously) if you\u2019ve grown out of it then you might need a new one sooner.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section
